Given the recent moves made to close Otter Tail County facilities to the public the Veterans Service department will be conducting all business with our Veterans through remote means. We are also suspending our van ride program until further notice.
We can still assist you with many of your needs through a phone conversation and trading documents through the regular mail and email. We remain committed to assisting you and doing so in the most efficient manner allowable. While this is different than normal it is what makes the most sense relative to the COVID 19 mitigation measures recommended by Minnesota Department of Health as well as the fact that many of our Veterans are in a high risk category.
Assisting and Advocating for our Military Veterans, their Dependents, and Survivors. We help our Veterans access the earned benefits they are eligible for.

Obtaining service related records and determining eligibility. We can assist you with obtaining your service records to include accessing your discharge. We will then work with you to determine eligibility for benefits you may be entitled to. Click here for info on discharges.
Compensation Claims. Monthly and tax free compensation may be entitled to you for based on current health problems attributed to events that occurred while you were serving. Contact one of our Veteran Service Officers to get your questions answered and file your claim.
