Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Loan Advance
SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans are now available to businesses and nonprofits in Minnesota. Small business owners are eligible to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance of up to $10,000. The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.
The loan advance will provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. Funds will be made available within three days of a successful application, and this loan advance will not have to be repaid.
West Central Initiative
Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation is offering a fast, new business loan for up to $50,000 with low interest rates, flexible terms. Visit their Commercial Lending page for more information and to download an application.
West Central Small Business Development Center is available to for free small business advising and to answer specific questions about financial packages and resources.
CDC has issued guidance for employers to help prevent workplace exposures to illnesses and planning considerations related to COVID-19: Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to COVID-19. Additionally, OSHA published Guidance for Preparing Workplaces for COVD-19.
