Agricultural Plastic Collection

Posted By: Solid Waste,

Otter Tail County is offering a pilot collection program as a possible continuation of the Revolution Plastics collection program for recycling agricultural plastic and boat wrap. Approximately 200 tons of agricultural plastic are collected for recycling each year from Otter Tail County farms.

Farms that already have a Revolution Plastics dumpster are allowed to keep the dumpster, and Otter Tail County will arrange for the dumpsters to be serviced. An initial collection schedule is arranged for the times below.  The pilot collection program is free at this time, although Otter Tail County Solid Waste is evaluating what an appropriate fee for the service will be if the pilot program proves to be successful and is continued.
